They aren't protecting the price for all existing deposits.

I have the same email, but crucially WITHOUT the bit about the price being protected. September 21 deposit, I4 model. I'm cancelling anyway as I have another car now.

Another one that's jumped ship to McLaren here! I absolutely love it but there have been a few teething issues in the first few weeks to take the shine off it slightly. I haven't been on the forum that much recently and not wishing to go off topic, but @TomE do you still not have your car yet?!

It's good isn't it?! I've been going there for about 10 years with my GT-R and the car park is always a treat with the sheer number of GT-Rs, and more recently a lot of other exciting stuff.

It'll be interesting to see what upgrades they do with it.
