Porsche backtracking on EV only cayman

Now THIS is interesting, and obviously it's what every petrolhead was thinking would happen sooner or later. I must admit that if this was official when I was considering buying my Emira, it might have slowed down my decision.

Well, they really had no choice, since their EV sales have been collapsing. It was backtrack, or go out of business.
Win for the petrol heads!

Only for GT cars I believe, so probably $150-200k.
That's a worry. If it's like previous GT models, being able to afford one is not enough to get one. If they're the only ICE Porsche sports cars the prices and flipping might be even more ridiculous.

I wouldn't be so sure that's only GT cars.

They had to introduce the H-6 in the GTS for the 718 generation when it was clear that the customer base didn't really want the H-4. I would expect there to be and ICE GTS again.
