New special order color: Racing Green

Agreed that should have been the launch green. I was expecting more pop for the orange though. Especially given the price they want for it. They should have just done Chrome orange again. I guess the autumn bronze will remain mysterious for now.

I originally planned to buy a verdant green, until I saw it in person. This green is more like what most of us probably wanted. I ended up with Osmium Silver because it really shows off the car's excellent lines.

I was waiting for the green. Surprised how much I like that orange.

I think orange and purple are my favorites of the new special colors.

Well the new green is impressive and I agree with many others on multiple points:
1. It is what verdant should have been and it should have been one of the launch colors.
2. I might very well have chosen this one over Seneca. Would be awesome to try it with yellow stripes.

But, with that said….the Ember Orange is a great disappointment to me at least in these lighting conditions (hopefully it doesn’t really look like this in blue sky/more sun). IMO it’s much more of a tomato red (a color I really don’t care for) and definitely NOT orange!! If it’s your thing and you like it I’m happy for you. The more Emira skittles out there the merrier, it’s just not my cuppa.

If I’m getting Orange on my sports car, it’s gotta SCREAM ORANGE! Kind of like this

Yea it’s a cool color for sure and like most colors it looks great on the Emira. Would LOVE to see it in person and the new green AND isotope AND purple all in one place! Maybe one day! But it’s still not orange enough for me! Add chrome orange to that line up of Emiras I’d like to see in person one day and that would be epic!

Wow, that green is fantastic! The chief complaint I've heard about Verdant Green is that it appears almost black. This certainly does not suffer that fate.

These were the 2025 special colors along with Autumn Bronze. They were replaced by Purple Haze and Eos Green for 2026.

We did order a couple of each and at least one of each remains unspoken for. If anyone is interested, shoot us a message!

Edit: Update to this for clarity. The Orange, Bronze and Deep Green colors were not specifically 2025, but dealers are limited to how many they can order. So it may be possible to get these colors on a 2026 car, but only if a dealer didn't already order them on 2025s.

Edit 2: Deep Green was changed to Racing Green, so the thread title is correct!

That's a 2026 color, we haven't seen those deliver yet.

Good info, I’m now clear that EOS Green” is a different shade than “Deep Green”. Would you know if the Jim Clark edition is one of these greens or a completely different one?

At a quick glance the Jim Clark Edition car looks like a similar green to Deep Green, but Lotus called the Jim Clark Edition "Clark Racing Green" and they say it's a bespoke color.

Hmm… so we may be up to 4 different different greens now, but only 2 available to order. And just curious can you give a quick rundown on the spec of the deep green you have in inventory?

Thanks. So I’m guessing it was a big upcharge for the colors. And I know you haven’t received yours yet but just wondering if there are any photos of actual Tangelo cars out there in the wild. The full car renders we saw were pretty bad as compared to what the chip looked like.

We don’t believe there is a difference between Ember and Tangelo.

No up-charge for the colors on our side, that’s MSRP (MSRP includes destination which we don’t know yet). I think what you’re seeing is just the new price of a 2026 car with tariffs.
