It's been a year since this video. Does anyone know what the real hold up is to get these to market already?

what they told me when i was speaking to George the manager there in Nitron USA, is that its just an office. i wanted to bring my car there because it seemed like they had a shop to do installs and since it was a newer kit i wanted it done by them. they said no its just an office building and they don't offer any type of installation there. So there is a disconnect or a limited amount of info they will divulge to end users. So, I've picked up on a mild distinction here and perhaps a forum member can confirm or even @shinoo from InoKinetic. For a long time, everyone was referencing NItron UK and their development. But there is in fact a Nitron (USA unit) R&D shop in Murrietta CA. They just did what I believe is the first suspension set for the i4 (see @Kaz posts). Can someone confirm do these two units operate separately or are they in fact the same company? I ask because UK customers seem to be asking local tuning shops there and we have US shops that are actually delivering the suspension. So, there is definitely disconnect.
I would assume Nitron USA is sharing intel and vice versa with their parent company? I only ask, because there does seem to be a lot of confusion on what's available and what's not (websites don't reflect what's actually available) which frankly from a business sense seems odd . The good news, for anyone in the states, there is a US division/subsidiary. And if you are in CA, you are especially lucky from a distribution perspective.
Nitron office in Temecula is full fab, sales, storage and installation...it might not be public facing installation bay but they were working on a team race car and then my car was there to get the installation done. I don't know if anyone can just call them and roll up for work on their car, I think it was a process to get the ball rolling so they can confirm measurements on the I4 and start development. In this process I am supposed to return there for any valving, or settings change, or spring changes to figure out the best setup. It just happens that the car feels awesome I am not changing anything for now...Guy knows what he's doing - and Shinoo was super helpful he street tuned the shock settings and it feels greatwhat they told me when i was speaking to George the manager there in Nitron USA, is that its just an office. i wanted to bring my car there because it seemed like they had a shop to do installs and since it was a newer kit i wanted it done by them. they said no its just an office building and they don't offer any type of installation there. Not sure if Kaz was able to go to the HQ for install or if it was done an ino.

Sounds like it’s time to knock on some doors in Temecula…You got electron or just r1 fal?
I just have normal shocks not the E or the front lift, just standard R1You got electron or just r1 fal?
Really curious to hear how it goes with the FAL and E system. If/when I ever do a suspension upgrade on my Soort I4 Emira, I’d really like to do it right with FAL, or otherwise I’d be quite restricted on ride height. Their E system would be nice too. But it does add up with the E and FAL…Sounds like it’s time to knock on some doors in Temecula…
I ordered many months ago. Er1 w fal. It’s several weeks late and still at least 3 weeks away at a minimum.
4 months seems reasonable vs the 6-8 week estimate.
As long as they work well (I’m not aware of anyone with FAL and ER1) it’s fine. Rather be delayed and dialed in than on time garbage.
If it’s both delayed and not well integrated, I will be looking for partial refund. Paying a lot of money, not interested in being an uncompensated beta tester.
Will post honest info here.
We shall see!
Thats exactly the reason for us, we want to be more compliant in the California canyons since they are quite bumpy and rough. But also do some track duty.Really curious to hear how it goes with the FAL and E system. My Sport I4 is very firm on crap roads. It would be great to be able to soften it off a bit on the road, but tighten things up on track.
The Nitron FAL is limited to a certain speed with FAL activated?
Every FAL system I’ve owned is speed limited. I don’t recall the trigger speed for this car.Really curious to hear how it goes with the FAL and E system.
