Nimbus Grey Lotus Emira Photo Thread

I did a Hethel factory tour in 2022 while I was waiting for my car to be built and two colours really stood out under the factory lights - Nimbus Grey and Magma. Dark Verdant (which at the time I had selected) just looked black. I changed my spec to Nimbus and really glad I did. I get many comments on how good it looks (in combination with black pack, black wheels and calipers):

I flew out a year before to do an Emira Track Experience at Hethel ( I couldn’t wait anymore). Phenomenal day with a pro driver. They gave me a US spec LHD- perfect. All the colors looked good in bright sunlight, but the Nimbus does a subtle color shift throughout the day- beautiful. Bingo. Highly recommend the track day, if it’s still offered.

Sorry for the amateurish picture, but I *just* got it back from getting PPF and had my 3rd drive in a V6 MT and this is the first picture I took.

Great fun, but I picked from dealer inventory and all had sport suspension. In the mountains that revealed itself as pretty uncompromising. I think I might bring that back to touring spec eventually.

EDIT: It's interesting comparing to other photos here how lighting completely changes the look. It doesn't even look as if it's the same color as in @scc.131.fe 's picture above.

RE: sport vs touring, are you on Cup tires? if so, maybe try to connect with another west coast owner or dealer that has a V6 on Sport with Goodyears. I think it's a great combo for daily road use. changing tires will be a lot less expensive (or find someone willing to do a swap).

I’m on the stock Goodyear Eagle F1. The ride is fine on the freeway, just NorCal mountain roads aren’t exactly aero grade, ahem. It’s fine, I’ll grow with them.
