Another Bump, 2.5 weeks to the event.

Hopefully, I'm speaking for everyone given the spirit of this meet-up, we would be happy to postpone until you do have your car back.

well the bad news is, I got my first CEL today, so its off to the Dealer tomorrow, to get it checked out. Hopefully something that can just be reset.
I'm on holiday for 2 weeks, so they can keep it for that time if it does need something fixing, but given the nightmare stories about parts availability, I doubt 2 weeks would be enough.
Hopefully sorted in time for the 20th !!!

The update:
Turns out the error code indicated an injector issue with Cyl 4. Ironically when I started the car up this morning, to take it to the dealer, the CEL remained lite for about 5 secs and then cleared. Even so still took it to the dealer.
The 70 mile round trip gave no indication of the error re-occurring, so hopefully all is good and I'll still be there on the 20th

I honestly don’t know at the moment. I’ll be chasing them next week tor an update.

I'm happy to postpone this until you get your car back if you like... after all the whole purpose of this meet is to celebrate you finally having your car back. Not sure if @Beachbum has his car back either. Maybe reschedule to sometime in late August?

JCT600 have had mine for 6 weeks, now awaiting parts and then to get the tailgate replaced, approx 3 more weeks. 12 weeks so far this year and not a courtesy car in sight Lotus informed and silence. Why do some get a car and others don't?

Id love to come to a meet up but am at the point of not wanting to drive in case it fails again.
