Just great. Did not reset after letting car sit for an hour. Dealer is 90 minutes away. Waited 2 years and 8 months and right back to the dealer : ( !!!!

Absolute Lotus magazine has run a nice feature on my Lotus Emira art in this month's edition of their fabulous publication. The editor, Adam Wilkins, and I had a great chat at The Motoring Literary & Art Festival at Silverstone in December, which turned into a full-blown interview. The silver Emira on the easel is still to be completed so look out here for updates, I will be back at the easel soon but life is still hectic. Check out www.performancepublishing.co.uk for subscription info, great range of features on Lotus cars of all eras. PS my own Emira has now down 6,500 miles and will be going for its first service in a few weeks, separate update to follow but loving it more every day...
Yet again my air conditioning has failed! This is the second time and really is not acceptable on a £85,000 car. It went to Bell and Colvill because of lots of warning lights showing (inc tyre pressure warning lights and engine warning light) fix was apparently 5 software updates but having collected the car the AC now does not function at all… not even the fan so impossible to drive in wet moist conditions because car completely fogs up.
Piece in "DRVE" by Nico Demattia Sort of a recap of what we know...but its a good read. https://www.thedrive.com/news/lotus-final-ice-sports-car-will-be-replaced-by-an-ev-in-2027?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=socialflow&fbclid=IwAR3zUoRWEHN_S7Dgdus96Nu0_rGJwWP3g-PZPHpeoe3EE5GJu-86ZmE3JaU
Like many of you, I’ve been a bit worried that the holdup with CARB certification meant that they were de-tuning the Emira by re-flashing the ECUs, adding more emissions controls, or just generally raining on our performance parade in some way. My dealer (who has been very transparent and helpful), has assured me that this is NOT the case. He has stated that the European standards are actually more stringent than CARB, so there will NOT be any de-tuning. In fact, this is why Lotus was surprised that it has taken so long. They figured they would sail through US approval. But we all know how red tape goes! Fingers crossed this is accurate and we all get good news soon. :)

Hello Lotus Emira members in the USA At the Dallas location, CARB stickers have arrived, and they are placing them under the hood supposedly, therefore, your Emira's should be delivered soon (my guess is 1-2 weeks across the nation), for those that are lucky enough to have their cars in the USA as the first 500 units shipped per Lotus (or are on the way once CARB stickers done).
