Silver brake hubs

Has anyone looked at getting this painted or powder coated so it's not silver? I think it'll detract from the black wheels and yellow calipers. In the images I've seen it's great with the silver or diamond cut wheels, but doesn't look great with black.

Your rotors will always appear silver. The hub complements that.
Have you asked Lotus directly or your dealer?
It would certainly be a different look.

The rotors yes. I was wondering about the hub inside of the wear area. But you're right. In this picture it's a nice contrast.

I found people on the Porsche and Corvette forums who have use high temp spray paint or powder coated them. Silver, grey, to match wheels, etc. Apparently it works well to prevent rust though I haven't heard anyone complain of rust on the hubs yet.

The rotor hats are aluminum so they shouldn't rust.
