The camouflage livery they were using for testing:

Practice on Saturday was P1 (no.75) and P2 (no. 88)for the Emira GT4, a very good start.
Let us see the performance in the race tomorrow

Is there a way to watch the race in the USA?

This is easily my favourite thread in the last year so far! So happy to see the Emira racing and Lotus back into some form of motorsport! (and in pole position 1-2!)

I am watching here. Clear and in English.

Holy crap, by 4 laps in they had pulled a 12 second gap on the rest of the field.

Unbelievably impressive. A TON of privateer teams around the world are going to be pounding on Lotus's door on Monday.

[edit] I also spotted Gavan Kershaw in the pits with the team, so Lotus are clearly very engaged and invested in a good result. You can see him clearly in the window reflection here:

Shortest race in history! Lasted about 21 seconds and it was over lmao.

Honestly though, nothing ever changed from practice, to qualifying, to the actual race. Lotus was dancing the whole time. Dominate.

Great showing but I just hope this performance doesn’t end up seeing the Emira GT4 stymied by a big increase in BOP ballast

They were pretty dominant in the short race but most of their lead came from the fact that the 3rd place BMW was really struggling at the Melco hairpin where it almost had to come to a stop to make it round each time, even the commentators joked that the BMW almost had to make a 3 point turn 🤣

That being said the Emira was so strong across the board in the race handling, grip and top speed - lets hope more are out on the GT4 grids across the globe soon 👍😎

Also I feel as though the Supra knew he had to make an aggressive move early due to the pace of the Lotus'es during practice and qualifying. Disclaimer "I am not a GT4 race driver!" But the Supra was quick during qualifying.
