I personally find matte a bit too “fashionable” to consider it for me

Thanks, makes sense
I realize my comment is a bit unhelpful, allow me to qualify. The OP asked if anyone is considering, the answer is yes, I did.

I think it looks good/different especially in black, my kids want me to do it (pre-teen), but if I’m spending ~$8k on it, part of me thinks that in time the fad will subside and it will be back to conventional gloss finishes.

It reminds me a bit of those shirts people used to wear around the office with different colour cuffs and collar.

@Golden Parrot Do you think we could get a brief walk-around video of your ride for a real-world example? All of your pictures are beautiful, but it appears they have a touch of editing that makes it hard to see what it looks like in real life. 🙏

Tried to do a quick walk around video. This is shot on an iPhone with no editing, daylight with cloudy sky.

Since nobody anywhere has a real-world comparison between different Matte PPF's out there, I got a sample of both STEK DYNOmatte and Suntek Ultra Matte applied.

Very similar -- I'd say that STEK is barely more true-to-color up close, but the Suntek seems to offer an earlier and more aggressive shift in light with softer light diffusion.

Congratulations, car looks great. You might just want to have the wrap shop adjust the rear bumper on the drivers side. Something looks off on the third picture where the line looks odd in the wheel arch.

Yep, good catch! That's how it's been since day one... I'll have to have the dealer fix it or try to fix myself. I'm sure a bolt was tightened too tight
