Last three cars are some of favorite designs. Mr2, bac mono, rx7, wow.

The rx7 was my childhood dream car. So sexy. Had small little door handle, cool rear taillights, glass covered dials, so many cool design choices.

Well, it kinda was. I actually remember looking at these when I was a young buck right out of college (it was literally my dream car when I saw it). These were trading for roughly $31K in 1993. Take $31K and translate that to today's dollars, you are north of $70K. It was pricy then and is still pricy today, if it were offered new to a college grad at $71K.

Well, it kinda was. I actually remember looking at these when I was a young buck right out of college (it was literally my dream car when I saw it). These were trading for roughly $31K in 1993. Take $31K and translate that to today's dollars, you are north of $70K. It was pricy then and is still pricy today, if it were offered new to a college grad at $71K.

Back then they had warranties too.

Im just going to use this post to point out a car I dont think gets enough love. I think the Islero is a gorgeous car. The attachd picture is of Ferruccio's own Islero he had made to match a boat he bought around the same time. Its an amazing spec.

I happened to see one on a Sunday afternoon at a car show in Del Ray Beach, Florida. It was very good fortune that we decided to have lunch across the street from a concour that we didn’t know was planned for that afternoon. The Islero was stunning. A Miura as well as a Maserati Ghibli were being presented as well. I doubt I’ll ever see an Islero again!

I still have my RX7; bought new out of college. Tacked for bit in my 20's. Didn't drive it much afterwards. Only has 5,900 miles now. Still smells like it's off the showroom floor inside. A similar RX7 in the county next to me sold for $148k a year or so ago. Had similar ultra low miles....crazy
