Emira Owner
I am 65. I have owned more than 50 sport cars. My opinion is that the Emira is the most beautiful car I have owned or seen. My previous standard was the Ferrari 458. What competes with the Emira for the best-looking sports car? The lines are well designed with excellent curvy sculpture that appeals to me. I enjoy just sitting in the Garage just looking at this work of art! What car do you see that is more attractive! looks only, not considering performance because I know and have owned cars that are faster.

I always default to the Ferrari 308 GTB… so simple with perfect proportions. But yes, the Emira is a close second… easily the best looking car on the market today.

Fun topic; thanks billjax.

The Emira is the most beautiful car I've owned, but I'm not up to the 50 sport cars you've had.

But there are simply too many beautiful sport cars out there IMO. We're lucky to have distinct tastes/preferences, so this is likely to attract a multitude of different answers. Some of my top choices, including the Ferrari 458 Spider:

And the last one, admittedly, comes to mind given my James Bond affinity.

That 8c is amazing and the DB5 is the beat looking Aston ever

I'd been thinking the same thing. The Emira is a beautiful car.

Lancia Stratos
Ferrari Dino 206
Lotus Elan Sprint
GT40 (Original of course)
E-Type

I also think the Emira probably will get in that list in time but probably too early, too modern to count as a classic yet.

I also think the original Elise S1 is also up there too.

I think about this all the time.

The Emira will go down as one of the most beautiful designs of all time. It is in the highest tier of automotive design and it's hard to name cars that top it.

With that being said, the Maserati MC20 is the Emira's closest doppelganger and it's also absolutely stunning.

First gen Ford GT is also up there.

Great topic! Until I saw the Emira, I thought the 1990-2001 NSX was the most beautiful car ever made. It’s still a very close second for me.

I always wanted an NSX. I probably would have gotten one instead of the Emira but I wanted something with more modern safety

I'm adding to my post above, although I expect I could go on and on and on...

Back in the day, I fell in love with a BMW Z8 Roadster and paid many visits to my local dealer, just to look at it. Luciddaydream mentioned above that the rear end of the Emira could be improved. I'm a huge "rear end fan" (not just vehicles) and don't mind the Emira but I was completely smitten at the time, by the Z8 contours. I'm surprised to see their current asking prices, given what they were selling for originally although they're not a common vehicle: less than 6,000 were built during their 2000 to 2003 production years. If only I'd bought it back then...

Possibly a base 993 for me. It's just so dainty.

But I totally agree with the comments so far about the Emira. I stopped the car so me and my son could get out and see one for the first time. It was green over tan and parked on a small highstreet in London, and I have never seen a response like it from other passers by.

A bloke walking past with his wife spontaneously said "what a beautiful car" and stopped to look it over. A girl at a café said to her mate, "that's the ninth person to do that since I've been sat here, people are obsessed with this car."

I even took a picture, which seems a bit cringey for a grown man, but I couldn't believe how good it looked.

Worth noting that before I saw it in person, I really liked the Emira's appearance, but I wasn't besotted with it. It seems it's something of an optical illusion for camera lenses, because in many pictures and videos, it seemed too short and too tall. A bit toy-like perhaps, for something with the styling of a mid-engine supercar. In person, it's a different story. It looks deceptively long, and so low it's slammed to the ground. I don't agree with the "baby supercar" comments YouTubers make. In reality, it's just "supercar" with perfect proportions.

I'm biased but here is my Emira's stablemate:

And this is currently for sale. One of the best looking Astons I've ever seen (1956 Aston Martin DB3S-R):
