UK owners please
Does anyone have a recommendation of a good lawyer who I can use to help me follow up my ongoing (from new) faults with my car.
I am aware of the my rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 (which for those reading this are as follows)
I'd welcome some recommendations.
Does anyone have a recommendation of a good lawyer who I can use to help me follow up my ongoing (from new) faults with my car.
I am aware of the my rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 (which for those reading this are as follows)
- If a vehicle goes wrong within the first 30 days of ownership, you can reject it for a full refund.
- If a fault develops after those first 30 days but within the first six months, the dealer gets one chance to fix it.
- Between 30 days and 6 months, it’s assumed in law that the fault was present at the time of purchase unless the seller can prove otherwise. Unless you’ve agreed otherwise, the seller (dealer) has only one opportunity to repair (or replace) the faulty vehicle after which, if they fail to repair it, you’re entitled to a refund.
- You have consumer rights for up to six years, which protects you against a faulty car.
I'd welcome some recommendations.
