Road trip in area without Cell coverage?

Been watching the Everyday Driver trip from Utah to Sonoma Raceway and thinking about doing a reverse from the San Francisco Bay Area to at least the Nevada part. I would assume a lot of the side road and smaller highway they went through probably will not have Cell coverage or very spotty at best. Have anyone done something similar and what kind of preparation did you do? Not planning to do anything crazy but with the Emira, there's a higher than average chance of needing outside contact in case of problems. The only solution I can see is a Starlink mini with battery setup. Have anyone use something like this. Is there other options (rental)?
