- Vehicle remained in a somewhat climate controlled (air conditioned) garage at home when not driven
- Battery remained connected to Lotus branded battery tender and tires were slightly over inflated when not driven for 2-3 weeks
- Engine break-in was done via 15-mile loop with a combination of city/highway driving
- Engine break-in procedure was normal driving with occasional bursts without hitting the rev limiter
- Always used the same Shell gas station for 93 octane gas
- First oil-change was a DIY at 810 miles using Mobile 1 full synthetic oil (January 2025)
- Both key fobs have a new battery (September 2025)
- Car has only been to a Lotus dealership (Lotus of Jacksonville) once. Purpose was software updates and to check for recalls. Car has been very reliable and has not visited the dealership again.
- Lotus of Jacksonville (Florida) is 10 minutes from my house in case you need them to perform an inspection.
- Selling the Emira because I simply don’t get the opportunity to drive it.
