Wow!
This video was 15 months in the making, look at the features - heated screen, it is practical and purposeful, auto headlights, heated mirrors and get this parking sensors. Oh, sorry I thought this was a new family runabout, I forgot it was the last generation ICE Sport car with supercar looks and stunning performance and handling
#for the purposeful

It's pretty clear the direction Lotus/Geely are going with the brand and thats a Luxury commodity designed to appeal to the Asian and mass global market. 'The Drivers' are just along for the ride on the Lotus coat tails hoping there is enough Lotus DNA remaining to offer up some thrills.
No doubt the Emira will be the last true Lotus to leave Hethel. Although I'm hopeful that there may be some interesting colabs and special editions in the future in a similar vein to the Radford colab. If you want a 'cheap' ICE Lotus though now is definitely the time to get it.
Older Lotus models look like a good buy at the moment, if I had a warehouse and a few spare pounds I'd be filling it up with Elans, Esprits, Elises and Exiges right now

On the other hand, after hell freezes over and we get our cars delivered, we will definitely need the rear window and mirror heating features! 😉

This video and email is exactly the thing they should be sending out! A little extra content explaining some of the features of the car or showcasing a different thing each time, so it's great they're sending something out at last. Only this is the sort of thing they should have been sending out over the last few months while things were quieter with no new information. Something like this every month or so would have been great to tide us over, but sending it now when demos and deliveries are coming very shortly is perhaps a little late, let alone that the video was originally posted 3 months ago!

Perhaps they wanted to reiterate the heated mirrors and seats again.
Just in case anyone was considering cancelling their order due to taking delivery in winter 😘❄️❄️❄️
Hahah Leonard you’ve hit the nail on the head there - absolute genius timing ⏱ from Lotus - I’ve no excuse now bumping my delivery in 2023 and into infinity beyond lol - I’ve loved this journey so much I literally don’t want it to end and want to keep this sheer elated feeling of never knowing when my car will actually turn up 🤯 I’ll be well and truly senile by then lol

Look at all of the banter we would have missed out on though over the past 18 months.
We should all thank Lotus for bringing strangers together through times of adversity 👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩💏👨‍❤️‍👨👩‍❤️‍👨👩‍❤️‍👩💑

So an email re-circulating a three month old video about basic features counts as an update?
This.
While it’s good to know there’s someone alive in LCC, this just smacks of laziness.

It's been so long since the last update they were probably just hoping we had forgotten about it. Or more likely they had probably forgotten that they sent it

well if you get rid of that yaris GR which isn't even suitable for a trainee hairdresser, you know, the one that just sweeps the floor, you'd have a bit more room to make a start 🏎🏎🏎😁
