Has anyone had this happen on their Emira?
I’ve got a brand-new BCM (ordered by VIN), VIN shows correct, but the immobilizer status in Cococlient is still “Inactive / Not Ready.” Because of that, it won’t let me run the “All Keys Lost” routine to program my brand-new, uncoded fob (A340M6043S).
From what I know, VIN match alone isn’t enough — BCM and ECU have to complete a Security Data Transfer / Parameter Reset first to change to Active, then you can store the key. Antenna/wiring should be fine because the last BCM was still detecting the old fob’s signal.
If you’ve gone through this before, how did you get past the “Inactive” status?
