Today I received yet another email from Lotus asking me to join a quick survey, and as always I went ahead and filled the forms.
But this time, after completing the survey, they asked me if I was interested in joining this "Consumer Panel" they're building for gathering in-depth feedbacks from customers and building a better brand and products. I said yes.
Do you guys know anything about it? Is this something common within the Lotus ecosystem? I tried searching the forums but found nothing.

That must be new, I did a survey a couple of weeks ago and didn't get that or maybe didn't fit the profile they were after?

Maybe, I have not been too gentle with the ratings and comments.

It sounds interesting, I’ll let you know what is this all about, IF it renders true

I would actually like to believe this is in earnest, and they are trying to improve, but I remain a bit skeptical until we see some action. Would be encouraging to hear how your experience goes.

How would Lotus know you own an Emira and have your contact details if you purchased your Emira second hand? After they returned my deposit (having not built the car which I had ordered and paid the deposit for), I've not heard a thing from them.

I posted a question on the forum about the difference between the Lotus and Toyota Oil filters and if it would void our warranty.

Of course, the Lotus members pointed out to me that they are identical. Which they are!

When I emailed the customer support Lotus people they wouldn’t give me a “specific “ “YES” they are identical and will NOT void the warranty.

So, I got a little spicy and when they told me they answered my question I “Specifically “ called “BS” on them….. their response…. They sent me a link to the survey with an invitation to be part of the Customer Panel.

I said yes and have heard zero back from them.

That’s not surprising, sadly. When did this happen if I may ask?

I purchased my car new, and from day 1 they started sending nonsense “engagement” emails like “step 1: it’s time to find more about your infotainment system” or something like that.

I wish I got that. It was a 3 year communication drought from when I ordered my car until it was ready. I was worried they lost my contact at times.

Because I’ve been speaking to them pretty much every week since January?

June 26th is when they told me they can not be as specific to my question and then sent the Customer Panel link.

I also told them that their website doesn’t work to order from online and the newest year you can select is 2023. So, am I supposed to know that a 2023 Emira part will fit a 2024? If it doesn’t and if I was able to order online and it was the wrong part would they pay for return shipping? I realize parts are most likely unchanged year to year, but come on! Fix the site with the 2025 date and fix it so you can at least look up parts.
