Also started some advanced driving courses on track too so hoping to be much better at the Nurburgring next year!

I have watched this a few times haha! Unreal speed. I'm hoping to close the gap to sub 9 minutes for my driving skill next year.

At the Nurburgring they have what's called Touristenfahrten, which is essentially 'toll road' style laps. Anyone can drive, it's treated as a public road, but you pay 35 euros per lap. People drive everything from GT3 RS's to Ford Transit Vans. You don't have to wear helmets. It's a nice way of doing a few laps (or just one..) if you don't want to commit to a full open pit lane track day which can cost thousands.

They increase the lap prices every year it seems. Last time I was there a few years ago it was below 30 per lap…

I spoke to a guy who lives there who said that is used to be 20 euro a lap. sad times.

Yes I was there years ago, I think it was 25 or 28 euros per lap.
