Status:
Emira Owner
My Specs:
Emira I4
Just bought an Emira I4
Shipping in from NYC.

Tried to buy local, but Vegas Auto Gallery never called me back after multiple voice mails and looking in person.

Got the I4 as I confirmed it was the 400hp by checking the vin.

Biggest factors in getting the I4 was the faster acceleration, wife approval (DCT), and didn't have to worry about a $12k clutch replacement job. GEICO gave me mechanical breakdown coverage for 100k miles, so essentially an extended warranty. With the extra protection I was okay with the AMG vs Toyota.

Went with the Alacantara as Leather in 120 degree temps is a no go for me.

Next 7-9 days will be torture waiting.

Congrats…..as a past m100 and Evora owner, my Seneca Blue I4 (401 mikes so far - issue free) was also purchased from a dealer 10 hours away. Couldn’t get a phone call or e-mail back with check in hand from local outlet. Enjoy……

That is so crazy we both had the same experience. I came in wearing shorts and they probably judged me not worthy. Funny thing is I only own shorts because I don't have to work for a living. Enjoy your suits and lost commission fellas.

Awesome spec
I really love Vivid Red since I saw it on an Evora GT 430. Tried to buy an Evora for years, but always ran into issues. Flew out to SF and had a cashier's check in hand, but the guy wasn't completely honest about the condition. Was about to board a plane to Louisiana when the owner called me before boarding to say he couldn't find the title. Found another but by the time Earth Motors was ready to accept my offer, I had already bought another house and didn't want to move 3 cars 1k+ miles.

Looked like it all worked out for the best, just a long time coming.

Sorry your experience with the Las Vegas Auto Gallery was negative. I live in San Diego and purchased my V6 Emira last November when I was in Las Vegas for business and the SEMA trade show. I found my experience with them was exceptional, Steve a great sales person, everything went very well. Maybe I was lucky because the exact car I wanted was on the showroom floor, I had been studying the Emira for several months prior after seeing one in a car show in San Diego. When I saw the Lotus dealer sign off the freeway, my son and I said what the heck, got off the freeway, walked in and again was treated very well, including them getting an Emira out and staged for me and my son for a test drive. The paperwork went smooth, the communications was excellent, and five days later, the car was shipped to me in San Diego, the shipping experience, the carrier was top-notch. What was also kind of cool about the Las Vegas Auto Gallery, their primary business is sales of exotic and supercars (McLaren's, Ferrari's, Porsches), a lot of beautiful Auto's there! It really helps cement, at least in my mind, the value of the Emira, it's not a supercar, but cosmetically, and fun to drive, it's darn close! It looked pretty good in that stable of all those nice cars.

Glad to hear you had a good experience. My initial impressions were good with the in person visit. Just never received any follow up or call backs. I figured after a few unreturned voice mails and emails, they simply were not interested in selling me a vehicle.
