Icon Rocklear better than PPF?

Saw a few videos online but I don't know anyone who has used this product. Is it really better than a PPF?

I was looking hard into that product but decided against it. In order to remove, your car would need a complete wet sand. Not sure I'd trust that but my friend applies it to all his cars.

The point of ppf is that its sacrificial and can be reapplied if damaged. This doesn't have that. There's no way this is completely impervious to damage so it sounds like its going to add extra pita when that damage happens.
