i4 DCT vs V6 Auto

Hello

A novice question. What is the difference in technology between the i4 DCT and V6 Auto? Is it not the same technology but for different engines? Or is the "auto" technology different in the 2 models?

Different. The DCT stands for Dual Clutch Transmission. The V6 auto is a single clutch gearbox. The DCT is faster shifting as it can select the next gear before you need it.
