Given my Emira i4 won’t come till 2030 earliest 😂, I have decided to upgrade my garage flooring in the meantime.
Any recommendations? Or examples of your garage set up? Needs some inspiration for colour schemes and cabinets.

Mines a triple (2+1) - currently painted concrete floors - probably going to put something like this as flooring…

Anyone got experiences of these Ecotiles or similar?

Yeah, had a look at these. Do waters drain through the tiles?

All depends on if you want it purely for storing the car or you want to work on cars in it. If the first then seen some really nice & expensive tiled ones. If 2nd then industrial flooring, which is the route I went and 10years on still looking good, but I do work on cars. 😉

Long lasting and durable option. It is a functional garage with daily use

These tiles have been brilliant and edging strip for garage door together with skirting boards, with matching coloured inserts are a nice touch.

Another benefit is the garage is a lot warmer, easily installed and need only a general saw to trim. Don’t use a knife to dangerous.

Duratiles I think the supplier is, installed about 6 years ago for about £1k all in. For a standard double garage.

They will mark a little with hot tyres. But, what doesn’t?

Just recently laid something similar a couple of weeks ago (sticking the skirting boards has been interesting in this recent cold weather... took a couple of attempts to find adhesive that actually cured below 5C!). Got mine from Duramat after some snooping around and getting some samples - probably the place you are talking about in fact, a whisker under £1k for 36sqm double garage with front ramp strips.

Of course my lovely space was immediately invaded as Further Crap Storage ("only temporary" I'm assured... uhuh, riiiight)

Did my double garage floor a couple of years ago. It had a failing epoxy finish on concrete which I ground off. Then I laid 12”x24” black porcelain tile with white epoxy grout. The white epoxy grout won’t stain. I’m in the Great White North so the porcelain tile will stand up to the cold weather and the weight of cars. Never laid tile before but I just took my time and I love it. I just last week added a custom laser cut metal Emira silhouette from @petrolvibes_. I built a custom frame and mounted the Emira silhouette on the frame and mounted it on one of my garage walls. Added accent lights that automatically turn on and illuminate the Emira silhouette when I drive in the garage. My Emira silhouette came “sooner” than my Emira car. No surprise there! Petrol Vibes. Free worldwide shipping and 15% off right now. (BTW: I’m just a customer, I have nothing to do with the company)

Also, I had the EMIRA text added as custom option to my order. Normally they just make the silhouettes but you can submit a custom order with a drawing or photo and they’ll design something for you and work with you until you’re good with the design.
Thanks. Will check it out

Mine were from www.mototile.com and been down about 8 years.

Have their skirting boards which are screwed on and screws hidden by the coloured centre trim.

If you are going to be working on car in the garage, I would go for the disk finish rather than the check plate if you plan on kneeling on them.

Funny you ask. I’m today half way though this project. Done one side of a two car garage ready for my Seneca Emira.

These tiles drain 40x40x1.8cm. I ordered them directly from a manufacturer in China on Alibaba - easy, took about 6 weeks to arrive, $650 all in delivered to East coast, for two car garage and a lot of extra tiles just in case. Super easy install, they clip together, I’m happy with the quality. Come with nice edge pieces.

Looks great but I'd be worried about using a jack on it. Is it strong enough to jack up a car or do you think you will need to put some wood down first? a buddy did your's and he loves it. He does detailing for a living and he washes the cars outside, pulls them in, and then dries them on these mats. Drainage is great.

Yes, just checked online, advised to use plywood to disperse the weight while jacking. For what I paid, I think it’s a deal.
