Droopy Sun Visor

My sun visor has always been a litte stiff in the movement but today something 'clicked' whilst moving it into position to block low winter sun. Now, it wont stay up in position either against the roof or if full extended against the windscreen. It just flops back down to the vertical position, perpendicular with the floor.

Anyone else had this problem and is there a fix that doesnt involve Lotus and the dealer? I'm tempted to get some some velcro pads to lock it in place against the roof but i suspect the answer is to bite the bullet and go via warranty and have to deal with Lotus again.

Visors don't stay up

Never thought I would be the one to start a thread in the Problems and Issues forum... Today, both of my visors failed. They will not stay up in the upmost position (either this way or that way) and result in reduced visibility. Has anyone else had this issue, and how was it fixed? I have...

Thanks - I'm going to take a video and hope the dealer will be okay with that. Dont fancy driving there just to show them.
