My display brightness roller knob seems to not be working, and my display screens are rather dim. Any suggestions?

Is there a preference setting on the infotainment screen?

It’s not for the screen and it would be hard to notice during the day (if it even works during the day), wait for night time and then use it, it’s for adjusting most of the lighting inside the car.
Regarding the dim screen, it’s a personal opinion rather than a fault, some complain about it some don’t haha but that’s how it is. Doesn’t bother me personally.

Did you remove the protective plastic film? I remember my parents complaining about "some words staying on" even after the rest of the screen goes dark on their new smartphones.

Yes, for navigation, you can set that screen for “bright”, which makes THAT screen a little brighter. The dash display thru the steering wheel isn’t affected.
