Hi all,

So when I start my car, CarPlay connects every time - but occasionally the dash where I see the display for it (not the infotainment screen but the speedometer screen) shows that it’s set to the radio. I can’t swap it to CarPlay and every time I use the next track button it swap to the radio.

I try to manually select CarPlay but it doesn’t work either, and the only real fix is to stop the car, lock it, then walk back and hope it works the next time.

Anybody have experience with this? Just curious if there’s a fix or not.

If you mean "bluetooth connects every time, but CarPlay / Android Auto fails to connect sometimes", it happens on my car too. I just change to Sport mode and drive away.

No, CarPlay connects every time. I can control it on the infotainment screen, I can’t control it with my steering wheel controls. Just occasionally.

Not sure if related, but Android Auto disconnects (every time) when connected wirelessly to the car
Haven't found a workaround yet, waiting for a software update for the Emira infotainment to be released :coffee: I use a OnePlus android device. I also have an iPhone but I think it doesn't disconnect!

Hello, I am experiencing the same issue. Did you manage to find a fix or will this require a software upgrade?

I’m having this issue too now. It must a Tuesday. Or some other nonsensical reason that it is fine sometimes and not others

Same, but don’t count on it being fixed anytime soon.
I mean since day one you get shown all sorts of icons when changing the fan speed and still nobody has noticed 😂

Mine occasionally fails to connect. Anyone know how to reboot the system while driving? Long press on play/pause button doesn't fully reboot, only a lock and restart fixes it.

No way to do that. While mine almost always fails to connect automatically, disconnecting bluetooth and connecting again + waiting a few seconds does the job most of the time

Mine stopped connecting automatically as well. Deleted the connection on my phone (both bluetooth and wifi IIRC) and then re-paired with the car. Auto connect is working agiain (for now).

Google maps, however, will lock up the entire infotainment system -- without fail -- after a pretty short amount of time. I use waze or apple maps now to avoid a lockup.

The other day I tried Google Maps plugged in and kept locking up. I then tried wirelessly and was ok.
