Sure would have been nice if this happened a few years back. I wonder what if anything this may mean for future tunes of the V6.

Took the words right out of my mouth, was thinking (and dreaming) the same exact thing! Also, pretty ironic, Lotus is considering moving off of the V6 because it would have trouble passing tougher emission standards coming in Europe, meanwhile the US is killing off the standard that gave them so much trouble on that very powertrain. Windle was right, very tough to plan in the global marketplace. Wondering how and if this might change the consideration for future powertrains destined for the US market.could this mean somehow one day we won't have to SMOG anymore in Cali? one can dream
