Greetings. Please pardon me if I have posted this in the incorrect place on our forum. Just new to this wonderful educational site.
I’m perturbed that Lotus did not include in “First Edition” Emira’s (2.0 litre T in my case) mirror blind spot monitoring at least not in Australia where I live (or Kiwi-land from where I learned to grizzle). Instead they opted to provide what I consider (in this instance) gimmick items such as a G force display. Who realistically rips around a racetrack corner, takes their eyes off the important line of travel, simply to see whether the little red dot is recording what their body is already indicating? If you are one who does, kindly let me know before following me into corners o_O

Really! Is it that important to include a G force monitor and sacrifice a recognised safety device known as “Blind Spot Monitoring”. In a racetrack scenario or even normal road driving, a system that informs us what’s coming up behind or besides us, is our best friend!
If any member knows of an aftermarket blind spot monitoring system made for our stunning cars, would you kindly inform me where they can be obtained? Willing to trade in the red dot, if it helps:ROFLMAO:
