Another lotus fanboy here from UK

Recognise a few users from other forums.

Have owned 9 Lotus to date, so a bit of a fanboy. Managed to get an early deposit down so looking to finalise spec of V6 FE after viewing car for first time at dealer on 12th Oct. Exciting times

Funnily enough my first Lotus was the Elite in 86 and actually preferred the Eclat

Me too, but then i saw this elite! I think the elite shape has aged a bit better than that of the eclat and with the popularity of all things 70s on the rise (who would have predicted that?!) I really fancy a pristine elite - and I think they may even become sought after, with their retro-futuristic vibe.

Love it! My recollections of the eclat are: awesome handling - excellent predictability and balance without being stiffly sprung. Amazing induction noise, which probably was not best suited to a 2+2 GT - but great nonetheless!
