Mine went in last week and had 5 updates since its service in Sept 24. 2 of the updates were to resolve the Reduced Telematics mode and also cure the non start issue which had started becoming more frequent. All is good so far.

Another successful visit to Rybrook Bristol today for software updates. I booked it in mainly for the well known non start issue and random engine management light on. Thought they may need it over night as I have heard some of these updates can be quite lengthy but it was done in under 4 hours...

For my 2 warranty claims on my 2nd Emira it was my dealer, Rybrook Bristol, who sorted a courtesy car. Whether they did this via customer care, I don’t know, but thankfully I just dealt with Rybrook who have been excellent.

My renewal came through today at £416 with Adrian Flux, down form £516 last year and pretty much matches my first year premium. That for 6k miles, garaged and full ncb. I will still shop around a little though.

I had this but mine was caused because dealer had to take the panel off to sort the seat electrics. The panel never stayed fitted for long after that so they replaced it with a new one, which sorted it.

If I was buying now, I would look for a lightly used one at about £25k less than new and maybe slightly compromise on your ideal spec, some of which you maybe able to change later. Jon Seal is selling a lovely Nimbus car at £61k with less than 2k miles on. I’ve got 7k miles on mine and love it...

It’s a pretty obvious mis match there, so needs changing. I can’t think how the manufacturer thought that the mis alignment of the weave was ever going to be acceptable.

From centre screen, tap the settings wheel button, click General, click electric pb and then choose deactivation. It’s in the handbook, if you have one.

Yes they are, so if installed correctly by the dealer all you see when you open the frunk is the plastic covers which are detachable by turning the plastic retaining fasteners. The finished job is actually quite neat and your resistor pack shouldn’t get any water ingress in the future.

I have a small Lotus umbrella in the pax door pocket which frees up the drivers pocket for sunglasses, unless you’re doubling up on umbrellas 😂

You can change the android auto / CarPlay settings so it doesn’t immediately star playing when you unlock the car. In the settings menu central screen, I turned mine off as I found it annoying when it started on unlocking the car.

Exactly what I thought

It looks like a very well designed and quality CAI and the power gain would be welcome but I’m not at all liking the noise. My NA Evora has a CAI and it sounds way better than that. If you like a constant whine, then it may be ok for you, I don’t.

Hi OP, I have sent you a private msg re my own experience, guess you have not seen it yet.

You can change the audio settings so that android auto doesn’t automatically start the stereo as you unlock the car. I found it after a few days as it used to annoy me as well!
