I agree on your thought process. I felt very relieved once I canceled, especially after continuing to read the ongoing issues. It would not work for me, but it's fine if it works for others.

I'm in the US and I recall the dealer finance guy called me back within a couple of days after I spoke and requested it from the GM. They put it back on the card, but could only use one not two cards like with my original two deposits. Overall, it was painless, thank goodness.

I totally agree with you, and why shouldn't we? It's not chump change, and a door seal to me is a basic thing to get right. Even the most economic cars on the market, such as Corollas and Civics, have a perfect door seal.👍
