Did Lotus replace the bumper, i have just noticed it on mine bumper.

I had the i4 updates last week and it does seems a lot better changing up thru the gears a lot smoothly, not sure if its my imagination, but it does also seem faster. I don't know accurate the Emira power meter is, but when I did a short burst (private road) it did read 391 bhp.

I picked my DV up just before you yesterday. I agree handling is excellent. Hendy said you don’t need to run them in, but going to give it 1000 miles before opening her up.

I was told by a Lotus employee, there were issues with the type approval in the UK for both auto and manual, but no issues with the European type approval thus why they got them first.

I have uploaded a video of DV in the sunshine to youtube. It was too large to upload directly here. Fantastic colour, and the silver wheels really set it off. Was told the car is a dealer demo just come off the production line and will sit lower once it has some miles on it.

I saw an i4 on my factory tour in April being built, (just about complete - at the end of the line) no doubt a pre production one. Also I spoke with a senior Lotus person at Goodwood who said they were even surprised how good the i4 sounded. Fingers crossed the final production one is.:cool:

Couldn’t really capture the flake as it was raining on and off yesterday, but here are a couple of close ups which I took yesterday. The wheel gap was good on all cars I saw yesterday.

Yes agree with you, however both cars still look good. IMHO, I think if you have a keen eye on design you will notice the gap more and yes it shows up even worse on photos than it does in the flesh. I was told by CS last week (whom went off to double check), that the wheel gap will be as per the...
