In the Dales yesterday. We had been for a pint at one of our favourite pubs and I walked out to this in the car park. I swiftly returned to the pub and tracked down the owner who was very kind to throw me the key and let us have a look around while he enjoyed a pint.

What was the price for the manual for pre-increase orders about £78k? As you say they are taking a hit, probably about £5k though not £10k as they didn't pay new prices. I suspect it will be the price increase cars that suffer the most as I doubt the used market will adjust for that situation...

All great options, we are in for an Emira and p will probably move to a Vantage after 12-18 months with the Emira. I'd be sure to buy used approved or with a good warranty on the Vantage and especially the 570S.

Swapped out my 65 plate 330d Xdrive estate for this 2017 Macan Turbo. New winter / family wagon.

I'd go E63S estate for my daily and family duties, Emira for the sports car or an Aston Martin Vantage if the Emira doesn't hit the spot and the wife loves her RS3 for daily duties so will stick with that.

I had my mates for a month and we did the NC500 in it amongst some other road trips so I can absolutely agree with you on that point. It was a 2018 model so no GPF'S either, I think 2019 onwards the GPF'S had to be fitted so muted it slightly.

You are probably right but surely that makes the job of selling it even harder especially given not many folk have test driven one before. That said I bought my SLK55 without ever having driven one and a friend of mine has bought about 4 cars without ever test driving them.

Just up the road from where I work, some great roads close by as well so could be my best chance of a good test drive given the alternative offered from Lotus Bradford.

Surely it is fair to talk about used cars as it is about how one wants to spend their £105k as a car purchaser and they therefore aren't restricted to only buying a new car? If you purely want to look at it in the 'new sports car' category then I agree, other than a 718 GT4, 718 Spyder or...

Purely because in the UK our car is about £82k so £105k is a hell of a lot more and is closing in on some serious car territory at that price point.

Agreed, it just seems mad to a sensible Yorkshireman who appreciates value for money. £105k just doesn't seem good value for the Emira to me. As you say the value is what someone is willing to pay, how many people are willing to pay £100k+ for the Emira is a different story though and only time...
