That's a nice spec. How close is the interior red to the shade of the calipers? (Our Hethel Yellow is miles different from the caliper/logo yellow, so typically we don't get the yellow calipers.)

I would guess an interior or caliper color. The piping is customizable, but I had mine also done in yellow (same as my logo and my car).

That may be why they increased the treadwear a bit on the LTS version of the tire. My Elise was a Sport suspension and shipped with Advans that lasted about nine minutes...But you are correct that more normal tires lasted quite a while on a car that light and with limited torque.

The new Forza Motorsport (no number anymore...it's now a continually-updated sim) has the Emira. I have driven it in my sim rig, and it's pretty close. Enjoyable to drive, and likes to step out quite a bit during quick transitions, just like in real life. Great brakes, and rewards smoothness.
