Any way to fix the brake dust?

Haven't logged onto the forum in awhile but I'm here to report that the EBC red stuff low dust pads are 100% worth the installation. Substantially less dust than the OEM pads, I would say 75%+ less dust. The install was relatively easy but regarding comments mentioning a tight/uneasy fit of the...

Did someone steal my gas cap?

When the car is locked, the gas cap is locked. I'm guessing someone tried to pop it open as to vandalize your car, saw it was locked shut, so decided to just pry it off completely. If you are really in NYC, that's an area I see a lot of vandalism on the Civic Type R groups that I come from as...

Does anyone recommend a shop to install the 3rd cat delete in North FL/Jacksonville area? I can handle my own oil change, and the exhaust valve controller from Milltek, but I'm a bit intimidated by the 3rd cat delete job.

Areas to check when picking up after PPF?

The PPF at the cut seams on mine were not folded around the fenders and hood well enough to where they are now coming undone. Also, the PPF on my mirror caps wasn't done properly as well, so inspect your mirror caps closely.

Any way to fix the brake dust?

GRP has had low dust EBC pads on back order, but told me yesterday they should be shipping out this week. My wheels are ceramic coated with G Techniq, while they clean easier than without a coating, they do nothing in terms of preventing dust build up. After a good cleaning, only 50-100 miles...

Lotus Technology 1H 2024 Financial Results

I'm wondering this as well. I know it's not apples to apples, but look at the Fisker debacle. Folks who bough $60k+ E-SUVs are stuck with near worthless bricks when they quit working. Rich Rebuilds recently bought a basically brand new one for super cheap that was not working. Last I checked he...

Yikes. They are bleeding with these numbers. I really love my Emira and I am rooting for the Lotus business to thrive, but these numbers are alarming for sure.

Yes I did get the red/low dust spec...Other members in the forum in the past have installed them as well. I am not aware of fitment issues but will report back

Emira brake pads that produce less brake dust?

I just ordered the EBC pads from GRP. I've had it with the OEM pads, I can't drive 100 miles without my ceramic coated wheels looking like shit. I always used Akebono low dust pads on my Civic Type Rs of the past, but Akebono confirmed with me over email they will not be producing pads on the...

    The 1st Edition isn't exclusive

Only 700 FE 1.0 were produced for an MSRP of $93,900. I was lucky enough to get one of the 1.0. For me, that's the biggest exclusivity selling point, a decent chunk of change less on the MSRP for the same car as the 2.0

service provisions when an Emira is tied up at the dealer for repairs?

What problems are you having that is requiring the Emira to be in the shop? I'm guessing you're in Pasco county, is your dealer Lotus of Orlando? I had my deposit through them and test drove their mule, but ultimately was able to buy from an orphaned Emira in NC and got my deposit back from...

I went with State Farm for my 2011 Civic Si (daily driver), 2020 RDX A Spec (wife's car) and my Emira FE. My premium is ~1800 per 6 months, 100k/200k limits, 2k deductible. Perfect driving record/no accidents/no tickets. It's worth noting that I got an extra discount on my auto insurance because...

Post a pic of the car you replaced with your Emira! And impressions too.

I sold my 2021 Civic Type R Limited Edition, number 367/600, for purposes of picking up the Emira. For the price point, the Civic Type R is in a league of its own. For $50k you get incredible reliability, comfort, sportiness, and rareness. I NEVER see a Type R in the wild, lead alone a Phoenix...

How many miles you got on your Emira!?

I too had your numbers 2, 3 and 5. Number 2 went away with an ODB tool where I reset the error in reference to the gas cap not being shut properly causing a vacuum leak/error. CEL never came back after this reset. Number 3 happens occasionally for me, so on my iPhone I go to settings >...

Lotus Emira vs 2023 Corvette Z06

This was my exact thought. I think both cars will get a lot of clicks, so they just went with it. It's so hard for me to get excited for 2 pedal sports cars. I could win the lotto and probably still wouldn't buy one

    Harry sells his Emira

    Windshield Wipers stuttering

I'm in Florida and drove through my first rain storm at 1100 miles. My wiper blades were stuttering a bit too, but they squeegeed the window well and did the job. I don't think the stuttering was drastic enough on my Emira to cause concern, but seeing your post, I did just notice this this past...

    Is Paint Protection needed?

I put 15k miles on my 2019 Civic Type R and had a dozen or so rock chips found between the mirror caps, hood and bumper. Ever since then, I always get PPF, you can't even tell it's there and you will never have a rock chip. I personally love PPF

I'm okay with that, I only weekend drive/street drive my Emira and mine will never be tracked. Problems of my 2024 Emira FE

As far as the bumper edges sticking out, I also have similar fitment like your photos but I think that's perfectly normal. Low dust brake pad options

I'm noticing a decent amount of brake dust on my new Emira, and in the past while owning Civic Type Rs, I've swapped the OEM pads out for Akebono ceramic low dust pads which were insanely low dust...virtually no dust at all. I emailed Akebono directly who told me they will not be making pads for...

How to fill up with gas without touching paint

I filled up my first tank of gas. The angle that the pump has to go into the tank is really difficult to do without allowing the pump handle's circular rubber guard from touching the finished paint. I started to look for like a pump extension adapter to fill up with to completely avoid the...
