Just had it done. £75 at a local garage vs the £600 lotus wanted to charge me! There are little tray covers in the rear that they remove to gain access to the adjustments, good design to be fair. So it was all done in an hour. Side note, none of the car was aligned, to the point where my knock...

Thanks. I followed that link you posted a few back, and found some PDFs, the stats are the same, just in a different format. Was just coming back to delete the comment lol. thank you anyway. In the UK, only the dealers seem to have the spec, and they want £600 to do the job !?!

Hey, I have knocked my fronts out of alignment, and when going around the garages no one seems to have the spec. Is this a confirmed spec, where did you find it? thanks in advance

Hey all. Dragging this thread back from the dead to save starting another. Any joy on finding a scanner that can also program settings? Sport mode on start up etc? Would be handy if I could use it with Mercs too, want to turn the panic modes off

I have the same issue. I'm not bothering to take the car in until a new software update is available, as it only started after the latest update.

Yeah I don’t see why not… My only concern with jumping off the list would be that when production slows to the point where lotus just chops the night shift and half’s production output to save on costs. Then you might see the second hand market go up as the expected total number of cars made...

Lots here in a position where they are picking the car up with cash, I think. If you are using credit, it’s just too expensive for most people. I put £35k down and I’m still paying £580s a month. That is a lot of money to splurge on a toy car when the cost of living and mortgages are so high...

Yeah. I have a standard set up, gets loud on idle. Downshift pops only happen in sport and track, lows revs too. If the valves change at different revs I have not noticed tbh

They open at any RPM, on V6 Auto at least.

Whats up with this loom? Picked my car up in June, the only fix I have needed (so far, only done 600miles) was software which fixed the A/C. What am I looking out for? The SOS system comes up with a fault now, so do I need to be concerned? Is that the start of something?

Small update. I took my car in to be looked at; - Anyone with AirCon issues will probably be solved with the new software update. - Twisted seat belts are supposed to be twisted - CarPlay lag was reduced with an update - Steering creaking/cracking sound when parking up is normal, and no damage...

Took my car in yesterday to have some bits done, alignments etc, I brought up the twist, they say its supposed to be like that. strange.

After doing the factory tour on my collection day, I can assure you this is nonsense lol. The frames are not even made in the same factory, Lotus have a metal works division a few miles away that make the frames, petrol tanks and all the other bits. They are then sent to assembly. Anything not...

You may want to check out the finance calculator, as I went with Lotus Finance and it was expensive still. £34k down and I pay £568

They should probably stop making cars for the UK until the person in line hands over a proper deposit and has the financial stuff sorted. Making cars and then having the buyer pull out as the finance price is now hundreds more a month is a bad business decision, imo.

It’s behind the seat, so pushing it forwards. The passengers move and the seat shouldnt. With too much weight pushing the back of the seat it probably causes issues… idk, I’m not an engineer, just stating what the sticker said lol

They put a 20kg sticker in for the rack behind seat and and 50kg sticker in the boot when you get the car. 20kg makes sense as if you crash, you have to add that to the body weight for the safety features.

I think we will have enough fake noises in future cars as they will be electric. The V6 rumbles lovely, inside and out. No need for smoke and mirrors! Drive both, see how you feel.

Average people don’t have 80k to dump on a car at the moment, so will need to get a loan… loans are expensive right now, even more so if your mortgage is due for renewal. You are selling to a shrinking market right now

Must be marketing and customer service jobs? They need staff to build the cars to sell... unless they stop taking Emira orders, close the book, and stretch out / delay the builds to match output. It seems unlikely though.

At the time of my collection, a few weeks back, the guys told me a base car with FE spec will be a minimum of £3k more. I would expect this to be 5k+ come end of the year, as the cost of everything seems to show no signs of slowing down!
