I'm up for it date dependent. Is there a way to PM all the uk based owners on here? I'm on here much less frequently then in the 'early days' not my niggles are solved!
What do we make of this then? Printed this of their website on 8/10/24. It now says Anti-Corrosion is 8 years ( down from 12).
If lotus claim the paint is 3 years then that's a good reason for me to give it back when my 3 year pcp is done.

Sorry to hear that. If you bought the car on finance you'll be able to leverage their rejection process. If not, go nuclear legal, it'll take Lotus ( based on my experience) much more than 4 - 6 weeks to sort that lot.
I've seen 282 km/h on the autobahn - two lane , quite scary. Bottled going any faster but it had more to go. Was just over 6000 rpm in 6th at that point.
The depreciation is steep enough that I'm glad mines on a 3 year PCP, When it's up in Feb 2026 I'll be giving it back. I'll be well over my predicted mileage ( intentionally) but at only 12p/mile it's small beer. I like to look at the cost of ownership/enjoyment in terms of £/mile so it will be...
Ah sorry to read this, mines just been examined there ( blisters appeared only a few weeks ago on mine - it's an early one) and it's awaiting sign off from Lotus. haw the chuff do you miss a badge...
Been a while since I updated, continue to ramp on the miles as my daily (23500 now) , another road trip to Scotland, and just back from my second Euro trip through France, Germany, Austria & Italy. Pic is on the Grossglockner pass nice an early before breakfast, Had to have a rear taillamp...
Ah that's a lot to take on ( I'd almost consider myself a regular at JCT600) ; hang in there, they'll sort it in the end, you've got an early build and none of the issues are unknown.. They are somewhat hamstrung by Lotus though..
I'm 18000 miles in, a Feb 2023 delivery, so quite an early one. Had some niggles, hvac replacement being the most serious, and thought they'd all been ironed out and now my washer jets have stopped working! Just got back from a Scottish road trip and it's been awesome, even in this company...
Just washed it for the first time in ages, and at the end of a 200 mile journey. What do you think? Engine? Exhaust? Something else? Can only hear it on the left hand side
I did the Academy on Saturday, pleasure to meet @RyanGphoto . Feel more confident in where the Emira's limits are now - the braking is phenomenal. I've also learnt' I can't drift for **it. Lots of LHD cars on site, all wrapped up awaiting their journey to their new owners.
Had it one year today. Happy anniversary to me. 14327 miles, averaging 23.8mpg over the last 9000 of those. Had a few things to sort since last update, biggest being a hew HVAC system. Recently had 4 new tyres and alignment done - made a noticeable. Plenty more planned for the next 12 months so...
Had an AWD M5 and I8 before, both very capable in the damp/wet. The Emira needs, lets say, a more delicate touch, or in my case, more skill/care. I've had a similar code brown moment in the Emira quite recently! At least when you bury the throttle the power comes in gradually
