Truth! Lotus already said the Emira is their last ICE car.. So every new reveal is going to be electric.

It's for balance and normal on these. Not sure exactly why some have flat spots on the edge and some don't. Maybe it's specific to certain batches.

Following up on this point because I just noticed the Emira GT4 uses a silicone intake hose. So yeah.. Not only possible but preferred for race vehicles.

The Eventuri intake utilizes a cone shaped intake where the stock airbox used a traditional panel filter. You can't use the K&N with the Eventuri. Just replacing the panel filter with a K&N (or other aftermarket filter) will slightly increase induction noise.
