I do laugh. For those with annoying noises in the Emira, see if you can find an Elise to take for a drive. Then go back to the Emira. Its morgue like in its quietness by comparison. OK, so its not Porsche or RR quality quietness, but its a major improvement over what they had achieved previously

Any issues from cold? I have the OEM pads still and find them OK from cold and have been caught out with pads on an Elise, that were terrible for the first few mins. Has made me very wary of new pads and their start of day performance.

Are there no other taxes applied in the US on cars? I thought State sales tax would be at a minimum, but maybe cars fallout side that. Surprises me if you apply no taxes at all and the new Tariff will be the only "Tax" applied to an imported car.

Every non-US Car is going to see this increase. Its the very reason its being done. Try to encourage people in the US to buy American. Ironically a lot of the "American" cars are built in Mexico(22%), so they will also see a 25% increase. Will be interesting to see if this really is a blanket...

Mine went down to 0.8 and I added about 0.5. Seemed to keep it happy Mine was also just serviced and is telling me its 0.2 and sometimes 0.4 below max, so either the dealership scrimped on oil, or the measuring is a tad vague.

Buying from one dealer does nor preclude from using another for warranty work or servicing. If Colchester has a decent car you are interested in, their ability to get them fixed should not stop you buying it, unless the next closest dealership is a lot further away

What do they need the receipt for, proof that the PPF was done? Surely the fact its on the car is proof enough If its to verify cost, then thats irrelevant, as whatever it costs them to replace, is what will be the cost to them whichever way it happens
