Legally they cannot. Adverting 5yrs and then changing their minds 2-3yrs later, means that Cars bought prior to the change, will have the 5yr warranty and those purchased after the change will get 3yrs They know it, but will push back in the hope that people will give up. It may take solicitors...

UK drivers with 2 cars and one garage/parking space, either do what you are suggesting, or hire another parking space close by. I know a few that keep their daily at their residence and their "Toy" at a more secure location close by, that they pay extra for

Allegedly yes, you do need special tools, but I just used Pliers and so far it looks to be ok I made sure the wire did not come out the other side of the crimps, so no rough edges. I flattened the crimp initially across the whole crimp, just to hold the wires in place and then did the edges so...

An update on my key and getting it attached to a key ring. Gave up with the smaller rings, no matter what I did, I ended up bending them to the point, they were no longer a ring and once they were attached, the ends just pocked out and caught on things. Was given some advice by someone I know...

I think the point was to get the Base car back to what was the FE spec. Granted not everyone wants all of it, but just a way to show the difference in price for what would have been an almost identical car at todays prices

At £117K on the road, I dont see them selling many. Thats a ludicrous price for a Lotus. No one in their right mind will pay that amount for a car, that then has the type of support, spares availability and customer service that Lotus currently provides.
