For me, it’s a mixture of both. There’s lots of emotion in the design and underpinning to make me want to buy the Emira in the first place, and also enough modern tech to make it feeling fresh on the road. I never track so it must perform as a road car on long road trips. Been to Swiss Alps...

I’m now narrowed to Yellow or Nimbus…. Tan interior as I love Tan Italian leather….. Yellow on Tan might work - mini supercar look. But worry as it’s not recommended. But I like it. Nimbus on Tan - sophisticated GT look. I like this combo, but is it too safe!?

Where we live, new Porsches are everywhere (Spyders, Macans, 911s, GT models) and people change them every few years to newest models. I guess they are great cars with great residuals. I just want a car to keep as I tend not changing every few years and want something a bit left field.

Ah well, the balance view of the reviews are the same as any Lotus, won’t be a massive volume seller….. BUT that keeps the rarity scale high for those of us who end up buying one. Part of the reason I’m consider the Emira over a Porsche….. looks, ride and rarity.

Like everything else, it’s the meta-analysis of all reviews that will give the best picture….. wait and see. EVOs review fit into the global sportscar brief for the Emira, so Lotus have room for a better more focused version…. Kinda makes sense

They only reviewed the sports suspension. 4/5 stars

I just read it, sounds like the sports (corrected!) Suspension is a bit ”meh” for enthusiastic driving…. EVO reviewer felt there was an initial “understeer” on turn in….. maybe done to please the non-enthusiasts.
