Evora was the same. It’s not the easiest part to get back in if you do pull it all the way out.

The thread was fine. I added some copperslip to it, before I put it back in and it went in easily. I took it out again about 8 months later and it came out fine without heating. Basically, they seem to gall up and get tighter and tighter. Heat works wonders.

Had the same problem on my Evora. Heat the calliper mount up, around where the bolt is threaded inside (carefully) and it’ll come out fairly easily.

That’s my concern with low dust pads. Surely, if there’s less dust coming off the pads, then the material is harder?

Hmm, mine also has 1, 2 (although only the front harness), 3, 5 (both doors for me) & 6. That’s too much of a coincidence to me. I wonder how many others have the same problems. Mine adds a Broken clutch bearing, failed clutch plates and thrust plate to the list.

If you look at Lotus cars on TrustPilot, you’ll see that they have a star rating of about 1.7. Loads of negative posts. It’s clear they don’t care about their customers at all.

They’ve pretty much seem to have a minimum of 20 at any point. So they must be getting regular supplies from Lotus. Lotus customer care say they don’t have any records of any of the cars that they’ve sent to Auto100.

Still waiting for a “positive experience”. I might throw them a hand grenade as a gift (minus pin).

Dynamat is pretty good. I used it in my F-Type. It made the cabin a lot quieter which improved the audio and made using a phone possible. Heavy though.

I don’t know them, but 450 from the V6, with just a re-map of the ECU, seems high to me, without any hardware changes. 30BHP more appears to be achievable, but above that, you need some hardware changes, such as manifolds, supercharger pulley, exhaust, intake etc.

That’s exactly what the crossover is intended to do. If you remove them, the tweeters will see the full dynamic range of the head unit output (unless the head unit has a separate, filtered output, just for tweeters). I can’t see how removing the filter will not end up with the tweeters blowing up.

Ah OK, so not a massive amount of time without being charged. My lead acid can last that long.
