Thanks. How do I see your journal? Mine had done just 500 miles and was making a huge noise from the clutch/gearbox. It’s been back at the dealers for 3 weeks, but I’m still non the wiser as to what the issue is, despite chasing them every 3 days or so.

What was the issue with your clutch and how many miles had you done?

Why would they put a tracker on a press car? Do you think there’s a difference, in terms of their use, between the ones without a tracker and those with?

Mine has the tracker fitted but not activated as well. Although our plates are different, it sounds like our cars are related!

That’s good to know. While Auto100 and I have come to an agreement, my car is still having the gearbox/clutch investigated and it’ll still need to go in again to get both doors replaced and the door mirror looked at, at some point. But hopefully, after that everything will be good.

I’d suspect it’s coming in from the gap between the bottom of the back window and the tailgate. It’s to vent heat from the engine bay. If you open the tailgate when it’s wet, the water will pour into the engine bay. Alternatively, if you aim your foam cannon or your rinsing spray from the back...

Which dealer is this and when was the pic’ taken?

My 2015 Evora 400 had bubbling on the rear, drivers side wheel arch. My 2023 Emira has it (badly) on both doors. I’m waiting for Colchester to confirm Lotus accept it’s a warranty issue and confirm timescale.

Once I get it back, I’ll let you know if the noise is still there or whether it was related to the clutch.

I did post a pretty awful TrustPilot review. I wholeheartedly agree with everything you’ve written.

I’d be happy to meet up. Only problem is, mine is now in the dealer as the clutch collapsed! At this stage I don’t know if the noise was part of the problem.
