Just had a further update - Feb build now, after being told March a few weeks ago. Hopefully that’s positive news, and means production is going a little better (FYI - 15/7/21 deposit V6 Manual)

I was 14th July deposit-In April I was told September build, at Goodwood FoS I was told this had slipped to November, and today told March ‘23. Perhaps you’ll be luckier with yours …. 🤞

No, manuals too - my manual build was this month, now it’s March (if you believe anything they say any more)

I was 14th July deposit, manual, Nov build. Just got the March email too. Fortunately got an early deposit in on the 992T. Shame though, really wanted to support a ‘British’ company

Silverstone quoted me ‘early Q2 2023’ this morning for a T 👍

Silverstone have just come back, confident of getting me one ‘early Q2 2023’. Given that my Emira was Nov build/Dec delivery, before latest delay, I’m thinking there probably isn’t going to be a lot in it now

I didn’t think base spec was too bad Leonard - didn’t add loads for my configuration. Haven’t specced a 911 before though, just Caymans, be interested to know what you would add

Interesting that you like the floaty ride - friend bought one in the summer, and said he found the feeling of lightness didn’t inspire confidence. Had the suspension worked on to stiffen it up and he’s much happier with it now. It is French, so I don’t suppose he should have been surprised

Did Lotus pick up anything in the ‘Customer Experience’ category?

Targa would be great, I’m sure it would sell well - the car is so short of storage though I’m not sure where you’d stash the roof - may have to ditch your passenger if you want the wind in your hair!

So what’ll you get instead? That’s my issue, totally p!ssed off with Lotus, but genuinely can’t find something else I want as much for the money
