Update on my issue: Took it to the local mechanic. By the time we yanked off the decat pipe from the exhaust (the mechanic wanted to pass an inspection camera through the exhaust to make sure the valve was working), the valve was working. Not just moving but an actual sound difference when...

Need to check what offset and range of motion the OEM v6 exhaust has

Does it have a 45 degree offset similar to the OEM valve to ensure that is it fully opened or fully closed? And the same 90 degree range of motion?

They've been in the market a bit longer so there are more cars with them installed. I'm not trying to put down any of the vendors. Just assessing all the options available

Is the valve design (offset, spring design etc), the same as OEM? Any major differences. Seems to be quite a few people dealing with valve issues with aftermarket exhausts (including myself) so wondering how the GRP system caters for this

The spring design that you have is what was on the Aerie v6 Ti v1 version. Guessing they change the spring design due to complaints of rattling valves for v2

Yeah the Miltek was in OEM mode on startup so that's what it is probably stuck on. Since the Miltek always sends an OK signal for the the factory valve position, doubt it would throw any codes anyway.
