Wake up and study the C8 Z06! They took a Ferrari 458 V8 apart, re-engineered it and created a high revving - most powerful NA V8 ever produced. It's a mental car! 100k USD. Mindblowing. Want one so bad, but much harder to get than Emira.

In case it's a Z06....take the corvette! Mental car, unreal, not comparable with Emira. A 458 Ferrari on steroids! In case traditional V8 (non flat plane crank)....take Emira ;-)

I guess we were all right and wrong: I looked into it and my ex-Exige V6 number is 1251kg as measured when it got its license in NL.

Exige V6 is about the same weight as Emira. At 1300kgs the Exige V6 is also ‘heavy’ in Lotus terms. Exige V6, Evora and Emira all have the same basic chassis setup. So an Emira can be made into a ‘Exige V6’ and that is exactly what I want to do. Love how sharp and responsive the Exige V6 is.

Simple…I owned a V6 Exige on nitron suspension and lighter forged wheels….it was bloody good both on street and track! One of the best cars I have ever owned. It thought Emira would be even better…wrong expectation! Exige sat in the garage next to a 991.2 Manual GT3…so could outright compare...

Sometimes you can improve a car by adding weight; to increase the 'installation stiffness' of the suspension. Its the secret to championship winning touring cars...plus it can lower the center of gravity and its relative position to the roll centers...

I have the RS3 engine in my Donkervoort JD70 and it is one of the best sports engines ever produced. Its mental! Prefer it myself by some length over the Ferrari V8 (having owned 458 simultaneously)! So I can see it takes a big leap advantage in terms of best drivers car over the Emira power...
