I think lotus have deployed miniature UAV’s to push the cars down for photo shots. You can see one on the yellow car in the middle of the rear screen 🤣

Don't forget these are all preproduction cars that will probably end up being crushed, so it is plausible they were just using old stock left over from previous models on these cars.

Sardina has some really nice coastal drives, just watch out for the helicopters if you are in a lotus. 😀

I disagree, the clay model the wheels are touching the arches, you can see it on the lotus website, which is far too low IMO. The DV one here looks perfect to me, a good gap and it doesn’t look like the body is having a argument with the wheels. 😁

As it’s China, it must be a i4, so maybe the suspension/ride height is different to the v6‘s ones we have seen. Does look really nice 👌

Can you see the white 911 in the background. I wonder if Lotus have been using it against the emira ? also from a distance the roof looks green, but like @TomE said it has a black pack which you can tell by the top side rails. Lovely colour, i think i have made the right decision.

me too, I was offered a Dino for £30,000 in 2000 by a girl (a proper petrol head) who worked the company I used to contract for. It’s now my favourite car but, not financially possible for me. The emira is like the modern take on the Dino IMO, can’t wait till it arrives.

No, I didn't see the rear, it was parked up inside the factory with the back to the wall. There is a pedestrian walkway in the factory marked by two yellow lines and we were not allow to step beyond the yellow lines, health and safety reasons. Looks amazing - just hope my DV looks as good...

I saw this exact combination at my recent factory tour in the flesh, but with the standard silver wheels. It looks awesome, I kept on going back to look at it. I seen the shadow grey at Goodwood and discounted the colour, but with the black pack it certainly does work and will be even better...

i saw this car at the factory, its not plain old silver and the photo is a very good representation of what it looks like in the flesh (minus the photoshopped black pack) If it was like the porsche GT silver I would of definitely chosen it, but saying that it is still a fantastic colour.

The magma is a red I have never seen before, very expensive looking, I just loved it. Looking at the DV panels, the fore of the panel was dark green that blended into black the further away from your eye, bearing in mind this was inside, but I imagine the colour will be even more dramatic...

Sorry, we were only allow to take photos of the clay blue car in the main reception, once they start the production cars, I am sure they will release proper photos. I suspect they don't want post production car photos on the internet as they could be confused with the production cars.

Hi Tom, Are you sure the i4 FE will be cheaper than the V6, as the website says that the FE is £75,995 and when you expand interior spec, its says obliviously under 'open manual gear ....' Available only on V6 which sort of suggests that this spec and price is also for the i4. I can understand...
