Did my first proper drive with some other Lotus people last weekend up into the hills. On a dry day, mountain roads in the highlands, sun shining, all I can say is wow! The grip was insane even though temperatures were low (on the Goodyear tyres now!) and the feel and feedback from the steering...

Went down it today using a trim tool, just basically un-tucked the rubber and pushed the trim back into place. Went straight into position, the rubber looked like it had curled up a bit but after massaging it into place it all looks good. Easy fix!

I wonder if because of all the delays and frustrations we have had over the last year or two they are wanting to avoid the whole "June, no July, actually September, no definitely November, for reals this time, honest!" situation and are deliberately forecasting way further than they expect it to...

After getting the tyres changed to Goodyears today I have noticed a lot less of the skipping. Still slight I think but might have been exacerbated on the Cup 2s due to dampness/temperature which definitely doesn't seem to affect the Goodyears as much.

Tyres changed over but not had a chance to drive yet. Got front and rear wheels weighed with tyres off. They are diamond cut but not sure if it would make any difference! Front 11.5kg Rear 13.5kg Shout-out to Colin's Tyres for getting them changed and letting me get them weighed!

Mine fogged a lot on the day I got it (very rainy) and has been fogging less the more I've driven it so it might have just been due to the doors opening etc during handover to explain things while raining and now it is drying out. I can say though that once the car is warmed up it cleared...

Looks like it says TT2 which could mean it's the second Tooling Trial prototype. I think this is one of the last stages before production so if the V6 timeline was the same maybe 6-8 months until customer deliveries?

If anyone's looking at any demo cars and want to confirm the suspension, it says on the actual spring. It will prob depend on the orientation but on my car driver side rear spring I can relatively easily read that it says sports. Hopefully will help clear up any confusion!
