While I may have misinterpreted, I didn’t get the impression CARB based cars are being held back in the uk until after the CARB announcement. I thought they were on way now. That would be annoying to wait another month later than other states… Who has the shipping logs??

I know what you mean. It’s not helped by the fact my hot wheels emiras look to spec given how well the wheels match. The D cut wheels look great in person, so I’m happy with my choice for now and like another poster said, I can always swap/refinish.

I’m sure there is someone who feels the other way. While I'm not in a position to swap with you, I really like the look of the silver, having ordered the diamond cut… will be much cheaper than a refinish.

Just fyi, my dealer was unequivocally clear, all of his carb cars (FE1.0 and FE2.0) are in the uk. He quoted a conversation with lotus today. They are coming together.

Just took a call. I’m in a carb state. I’ve just got my VIN today. My car is in a batch of 20 at Hethel, but soon to leave. East cost Dealer expects to have the car in about 4 weeks.

That’s an incredible price. Personally I think we’re passed bubbling issues. However, if it’s a real concern for you, then, perhaps you’re best off having your dealer do the PPF because they will somehow feel a bit liable in the event that there are any issues.
