Not too many "modern" cars I'm interested in right now. Probably go back to a Porsche 356 which are crazy overpriced for a good one, but have so much character they are irresistible to me.

That's seriously low RPM, IMO. Other than idling and the tiny time it takes to get revs up from a standstill, I personally would not lug the engine around like that. Seriously, just always keep the engine over 2 -2.5 k ESPECIALLY when accelerating and I think what you hear will go away forever.

My dealer was up front about a test drive they do for every new Emira to test out the features so they didn't deliver one without everything working. Even with that it only had 18 miles. They would have some explaining to do if it was much over that.

If it's like older Lotus models, it'll give you time spent at different RPMS, time spent in different gears, time spent at different throttle settings. You can read a lot about how the car has been driven.

I put my set on last week. IMO these are the best all seasons and I’ve used them on several cars.

Same here. Used touring for the first time the other day in very cold and wet conditions on the way to the dealer to switch to all season tires. Right back to sport now.

Not an issue at all. Very normal and shows a good working cooling system. Mine might move around between 196 and 200 with no AC on, but if I'm running AC it settles into a very consistent temp even when driving hard.

“Custom” tires? You can buy them from Tire Rack. I agree my Emira looks exotic, but it’s not an F1 car! 😆

I was at my dealer yesterday getting my winter wheels on and they said the I4 was approved.

Don’t treat it as a garage queen. Drive it and don’t sweat the little scars it’ll get. Everything else is common sense. It’s a Toyota drivetrain so it’s not fragile.

Have you checked your tire wear? More wear on the right than left? If so, then maybe you have an alignment issue.

This time of year with the low sun and cooler air temps, the side towards the sun will run higher on my car. However, it's pretty consistent and will shift sides as I go in different directions. Do you notice it regardless of the direction of the sun?

If your dealer did that deletion, do them a favor and don't publish that information on a public forum. Nuff said.

Be careful running the Goodyears that cold! They really aren’t designed to run near freezing. You can easily get a shoulder crack and a catastrophic deflation. Summer performance tires usually get pretty slick anyway below 45!

In my area, they'll spread some chemicals before a snow. Car comes off road at that point. It'll normally rain shortly afterwards and wash the chemicals off. Car goes back out for fun! We are right in that zone that can go weeks without a snow/chemicals so I don't want to miss out on a...

I'll drive through the winter, but not in snow or heavily salted roads. I'll do all-seasons on a second set of wheels in November and keep them on until April.

@Sandalwood I just noticed you're from Chattanooga. I grew up there. There are some great roads for day trips. I remember driving by the Ocoee up to Ducktown, Turtletown, Murphy, Tellico, etc. Good Lotus roads for sure!!

This is totally normal and is common on most cars. Speedo error is allowable as long as it overstates speed and not understates. My Emira speedo is 2 mph higher than GPS AT 80 mph.

They’ve fallen off every lotus I’ve owned, including the Emira. I just threw them in the glovebox and don’t use them since they aren’t too visible.

No. I specified a color I’ve had on another car. Technically it’s called Forged Charcoal, and it’s pretty much the color of brake dust. You can drive the car hard all weekend and barely notice the dust. If I like it on the Emira I’ll repaint the silver Oem wheels forever use.
